Who We Are
Little Friends Preschool was established in 1988 and has consistently provided an environment that fosters learning, school preparedness and respect in a fun and loving way. Our facility has six clean, organized and fully-equipped classrooms set up to enhance learning through play. Consistent routines, engaging projects and loving care from experienced teachers provides support for children to grow their skills while they learn to care for themselves, others and their world.
Owner Celeste Ricciardone and her daughter Director Nicole Beck believe that love, family, cooperation and respect are the cornerstones of character building and the foundation of any good educational institution. Our facility strives to embody these principals.
Because we feel that increasingly respect for our environment is a crucial element in a child's education we include outdoor education as a component of our school. We have an outdoor play area that includes enclosed playgrounds as well as flower and vegetable gardens, a walk path through a wooded area and a nature construction site. These areas provide support for children to experience the joy of playing outside while they learn the importance of protecting our natural world. We use activities structured on the principals of the American Forest Federation's Project Learning Tree and World Forum Foundations Nature Explore to incorporate the outdoors with curriculum and skill building.
